Hunting Preserve

Federal Valley Pheasant Farm and Hunting Preserve is currently run by Brian Hines. The property has been in the Hines family since the 1800s. Originally a corn farm, it switched over to a hunting business in 1989. “Farming is dying,” said Gene Hines, who founded the preserve with his wife Roseanna. “You don’t see any young farmers. It’s too hard to get in.”
